Tarotgraphe's complete restoration was undertaken from the original copy documented in Christophe Poncet's landmark work \u003cem\u003eThe Tarot of Marsilio, Vol. I\u003c\/em\u003e, where the deck's Hermit card appears as a featured example of the tradition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe restoration is meticulous. Outlines, faces, contours, letters, and numbers have been fully reconstructed, and the colors returned to their nineteenth century vibrancy. Critically, the original production flaws of the source deck have been preserved rather than corrected, including paint bleeds and areas of missing color, out of respect for the character and authenticity of the original object. The deck is also printed on unbleached paper to retain the warm, aged tone of the historical cards rather than the stark white ground of modern production decks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e78 cards plus one presentation card, printed on 350gsm stock with a matte finish, at the original game dimensions of 109mm x 62mm.
