Grains of Paradise (Aframomum melegueta)
Known also as Guinea Pepper or Alligator Pepper, Grains of Paradise have long been prized in African Traditional Religions, Hoodoo, and folk magic for their associations with luck, protection, personal power, and ancestral reverence. They are also carried in conjure as a charm for success, confidence, prosperity, and spiritual protection.
