Roman Liturgical Incense for Various Saints

Liturgical incense has a long history of use in Catholic prayer and devotion, but incense has never belonged exclusively to the church. In Hoodoo and other forms of American folk magic, Catholic devotional materials have long been incorporated into practical spiritual work. Saints may be approached as powerful spiritual allies, while incense is used to cleanse and prepare a space, carry prayers, and strengthen a petition.

Roman liturgical incense is well suited to this kind of work. Burn it while praying to a saint, before a holy card or altar, as part of a novena, or alongside candles, petitions, and other conjure work. The smoke helps sanctify the working space and accompany the prayer or petition being made.

Each jar contains 28 grams of incense.
