Oil of Mabon - A ritual oil for the celebration of Pagan Mabon or the Autumnal Equinox
Mabon is a Pagan holiday to celebrate the Autumnal Equinox; one of the eight Wiccan sabbats celebrated during the year. The name Mabon comes from the God of Welsh mythology, Mabon. He is the Child of Light and the son of the Earth Mother Goddess, Modron. At this time of the year (my favorite actually, night and day are again of equal length and in perfect equilibrium - dark and light, masculine and feminine, inner and outer, in balance. This is a point of major transition; the year now begins to wane and from this point, the darkness begins to defeat the light. Mabon is a celebration of the second harvest, and also a time of rest after the labour of that harvest. Its a great time to celebrate what you have sown.
Use this oil to anoint candles, ritual tools, and items for the harvest festival.
This is a great oil that's useful for Sun magic, but primarily for the cooling down period, a rest. This spicy fall oil is great for things such as thanksgiving, celebration, and transformation.
Our oil is made in the hour of the Sun and the day of the Sun using organic jojoba oil, herbs and oils traditionally associated with the Sun and of harvest including cinnamon, galangal, clove, nutmeg, orange, allspice, anise and other fall spices.
You will receive approximately 14 mL of ritually crafted oil in a glass bottle as shown in the photos. The listing is for one bottle of oil only.
