Toad Salt - A salt for self-overcoming and morphogenesis

The toad was an important figure in the folklore of pagan England and was often associated with magic and mysticism. According to some beliefs, the toad was seen as a shape-shifter that could transform into a human or animal form and was considered a powerful familiar to witches and other practitioners of magic.

In some traditions, toads were thought to be able to cure illnesses and provide protection against evil spirits. They were also believed to possess a potent venom that could be used to create powerful potions and spells.
In addition to their magical properties, toads were also viewed as symbols of fertility and rebirth. They were associated with the spring season, and their emergence from hibernation was seen as a sign of the changing seasons and the renewal of life.

While Black salt is a classic in occult practices, our Toad Salt is a take on the classic. We used large grain sea salt and infused it with herbs and mosses from the swamps and damp places of New England. Mildly scented from the herbs and tinctures, this salt is great to sprinkle in waters used for baths, used in rituals for transformation, or dissolved in water to asperge the ritual of self-overcoming.
